Hayden Creque Joins W3i As General Counsel
W3i today announced the promotion of Hayden O. Creque to General Counsel, reporting to CEO Robert Weber.
“We’re excited to welcome such a seasoned professional to our executive team,” said Robert Weber, W3i’s CEO. “Hayden is charged with becoming our resident expert on Internet privacy and software best practices. Hayden will manage our relationships with external industry-experts and partners to ensure we are adhering to the industry’s best practices. In addition, Hayden will quarterback our efforts to understand and potentially participate in the programs set forth by consumer advocacy groups, such as TrustE.”
Hayden Creque is the General Counsel of W3i, owner of Freeze.com and Ringtone.com. Hayden has had a diverse career path. He held several management positions with TDS TELECOM before attending law school. After law school he entered private practice with Lindquist & Vennum pllp as a litigator. Hayden now leads W3i’s privacy, risk minimization and best practice initiatives. He also counsels the company on contract, human resource, intellectual property and privacy law. In addition, he has a key role in determining W3i’s evolving strategy.
Hayden holds a J.D. cum laude from the University of Wisconsin and a Concentration in International Business Law. He also earned a B.S. in Business from Edgewood College.
